This year as well as in the last years the world famous NHL hockey player Pavel Kubina prepared a set of 3 exhibition charity football matches with famous hockey players, football players, trainers and several famed faces of Czech sport. The first and second matches took part in the town of Brušperk and Dolní Žukov during the July. The third one was prepared for Pavel’s home-village Janovice near Frýdek-Místek in July 26th.

Among the Kubina team players we could see except Pavel also Pavel’s father, NHL player Rostislav Olesz from Florida Pathers, Tomáš Fleischmann from Washington Capitals, ex-NHL hockey player Vladimír Vůjtek, football goal-keeper Pavel Srníček, football trainer of Hlučín team Petr Samed, NHL fitness trainer Igor Horyl, ex-Czech national team hockey player František Černík, football trainer of Frýdek-Místek 3rd league team Radoslav Látal, owner of Hlučín football team Lumír Kot and Czech Taekwon-do ITF national team member Michal Košátko.

The sponsors for the charity event were Aleš Buksa LR Cosmetic ČR, Club Bonver, brewery Radegast, D-Sport, sport company Kappa, Beskydy grocery company Chodura and Deník press. The charity donation was handed over to Children rehabilitative social welfare institution of Ostrava Fifejdy hospital.
