Košátko trénuje v Nuuku Sedmadvacetiletý Michal Košátko z Frýdku-Místku připravuje grónské taekwondisty na tamní mistrovství
Odchovanec frýdecko-místeckého taekwonda Michal Košátko to dotáhl až do reprezentace. V roce 2005 se stal dokonce mistrem světa. Při cestách po zahraničí získal zajímavou nabídku. Jít trénovat do Norska. „Chtěli, abych připravil jejich zápasníky na vrcholové akce. A tak jsem před třemi lety strávil nějaký čas s norskými taekwondisty. Byl jsem s nimi na závodech ve Skotsku a ve Finsku. To byl můj první kontakt s bojovníky ze severských zemí,“ vypráví Košátko. |

V začátcích letních měsíců oslovil Michala Košátka, mistra světa 2005 a několikanásobného evropského šampiona minulých let, Taekwon-do ITF klub v hlavním městě Grónska, Nuuku, s žádostí o uspořádání třítýdenního tréninkového soustředění zaměřeného na sportovní boj. Termín byl stanoven na období od 19. srpna do 7. září 2010. |

11th International Budo Meeting |

Next year of Budo Meeting, already 11th, took place in Zürich on 31 November, 2009. The budo show offered amazing martial art tricks including fights, free style shows, acrobatics, Chinese dragons, self-defense against weapons and several attackers. All the event was managed by Master Hwa Chin Yaw. |

I would like to thank all the guys (Michal, Luckas, Jan, Jan, Roman) for organising such a fantastic, highly skilled, well organised and well run camp. The trainings where well thought out and well prepared, we had a schedule so we knew exactly what discipline we would be training for and so we could prepare for the tough trainings (the only way the Czech know how) that was in store. Where else would you get to train with so many experienced international competitors’, with many European and World Championship medals, and European and World Champions! The setting of the camp was fantastic in the lovely town of trebon, where the people where friendly and the weather was lovely. I particularly liked the great comrodary and friendliness between all participants and organisers. |

First year of international training camp of Korean martial art Taekwon-do ITF took place in south-bohemian town of Třeboň under the title Czech Summer Challenge between 27th July and 3rd August 2008. First training started on Saturday evening and continued next days in three-phase trainings. Whole event was organized by today’s and former masters of Europe, World and successful representatives of Czech Republic in patterns, sparring, special techniques and power breaking Jan Mraček, Michal Košátko, Lukáš Vaněk and Jan Klaška. Members of Taekwon-do ITF could come, test their abilities and improve their blow hits and kicks anytime during the event. “This is the reason why some days we had more people on the trainings and other less. However, our training capacities were more then sufficient.” as one of the organizers Jan Kaška mentioned. |
